Stryx
Stryx is a female artist-led residency, studios and exhibition space in Digbeth, Birmingham.
Founded in 2012, Stryx focuses on supporting artists through residencies and artist development programmes.
Strength Strings is a tapestry-like textile piece of work run by Stryx artists with young women with autism.
The aim of the project is building strong and safe communities and spaces for women.
Stryx have collaborated with Queen Alexandra College Community Hub Women’s Peer Support to deliver a series of socially engaged workshops co-created by the participants.
