Birmingham's boldest women

I qualified as a solicitor in 1996, became a partner in 2005 and I joined international law firm Trowers & Hamlins LLP to help open our Birmingham office. At that time, we were about 14 people. I was promoted to the position of head of our Birmingham office in January 2020 and the office is now made up of over 140 people.

I am on the Advisory Board of the government backed Care Leavers Covenant and in November 2021, I became the independent chair of the West Midlands Combined Authority’s Race Equalities Taskforce. The Taskforce has a mandate to deliver new ways to tackle and reduce race inequalities across the West Midlands.
