Paul is from the Love Weoley Castle community group and Patricia is a volunteer.

Paul said:

“What I like about Birmingham is the diversity, and I think we want to be able to celebrate diversity.

I love getting to know people from different backgrounds, finding out about their history, their stories and just bringing people together. That’s what I love about Birmingham.”

Patricia said: “

I volunteer at Weoley Castle to help run the craft activities. I enjoy doing what I do because I love life.

Birmingham to me is a very special place because I’m Birmingham born and bred. Birmingham means a lot to me all round.”
