2022 is the year of the Commonwealth Games. A year in which we can show off the very best of our Bold Birmingham. The Queen’s Baton Relay, allows us to showcase the city and our inspirational residents – the Batonbearers.
Each Batonbearer has their own unique story. So whether it is a visually impaired cricketer or a charity founder or a youth worker (to name a few) there are plenty of reasons why they are being recognised for their amazing contributions.
Selfless, hardworking and determined, each Batonbearer has made a significant impact to their local area and beyond. It is now their turn to take the limelight and have the great honour of being part of the Queen’s Baton Relay 2022. An experience which will live with them forever.
