Birmingham Commonwealth Tennis Legacy Project

Group of children playing tennis on a number of tennis courts

The Birmingham Commonwealth Tennis Legacy Project provides subsidised tennis for local people.

The aim of the project was to get children excited about the Commonwealth Games and inspire them to take up tennis.

Birmingham Commonwealth Tennis Legacy Project visited a number of different primary schools in the run-up to their Commonwealth Festival event at Kings Norton Tennis Club on 6 August.

Over 100 hundred people attended the family tennis day and enjoyed participating in a range of different skills sessions run by coaches.
